WHO WANTS EXTRA SALT?

Registration is open for our saltiest event yet – the SaLTRA – 200K+ of the most thirst-inducing backcountry adventures we could cook up! 

Riders will start their adventure in beautiful downtown Sault Ste. Marie on the evening of Friday, July 24, during packet pick up for the Salty Marie Trails Fest. They will set out on an epic adventure north through our course that has been crafted with extra seasoning for those looking for a challenge, finishing up at our home trails at Hiawatha Highlands. There are no aid stations on the route...this is a self-supported event! 

The SaLTRA will be limited to 12 PARTICIPANTS. That’s it.

We will be accepting applications until Friday, June 5! After that, we will do a random draw from eligible applicants to fill our spots!

To be eligible to apply, we are looking for people who have already completed one of the following:

• A 100km mountain bike ride/race OR

• A 100km off-road bikepacking trip OR

• 160km gravel ride/race OR

• 200km+ road ride/race
